Cronulla Marina

Stage 1 – Prepare a Concept Master Plan for a land based marina facility comprising boat brokerage, marina offices, café, restaurant and public works. Stage 2 – Part 3A Project Application for “Reconfiguration of Cronulla Marina” involving extension of floating marina complex to accommodate 70 berths, 4 fore-and-oft moorings, upgraded slipways to meet EPA standards, sewage and oily bilge pump-out and public works. Currently being assessed by the Department of Planning.
Preparation of the Preliminary Environmental Assessment (PEA) and Environmental Assessment (EA) (including briefing and project managing specialist consultants and reviewing technical reports to confirm adequacy with the Director General’s Requirements (DGRs)); Public Notification and Community and Stakeholder Consultation; Liaison with State Agencies; Obtaining Land Owners Consent (including preparation of a Business Case and Public Interest Test for the Department of Lands); Visual Impact Assessment (including 3D fly though model) of foreshore site and surrounds; Draft Statement of Commitments (SoC); Response to Submissions received during the Public Exhibition period.
