Jetset Prop v. Eurobodalla Shire Council

Planning Workshop Australia was engaged by Eurobodalla Shire Council as its Planning Expert to provide evidence in the Land and Environment Court in support of the Council’s refusal of development consent to construct a 3,000 m² Woolworths Supermarket, specialty stores and car parking at Sunshine Bay, south of Bateman’s Bay. The appeal was heard by Senior Commissioner Roseth.

The Court dismissed the appeal and refused the development application, principally on economic grounds and that the proposal was antipathetic to the Council’s adopted retail hierarchy for the Shire.
